Interregional XR-Days – Collaboration Across Borders

In July, IMI hosted the Interregional XR Days. Around 20 researchers from seven institutions in France, Germany, and Spain participated in the three-day event to exchange insights on their XR research. Alongside IMI, iCube in Strasbourg, FZI PDE, and KVE at HS Mannheim were among the hosts. The event included scientific presentations, live demonstrations, lab visits, and networking sessions.

Highlights included insights into VR therapy applications at iCube, practical demos of firefighter training simulations at FZI, and the advanced Varjo XR-3 device at KVE. The event emphasized the importance of international collaboration and knowledge exchange in advancing XR technology.

We look forward to continuing and expanding this exchange in 2025.
